This summer, the state of Florida made it a rule that all surgeons who perform BBL surgery must use ultrasound and limited the number of surgeries because of abuses in the past.

One Florida surgeon has capitalized on this and is putting a spin on it, labeling ultrasound guided BBL a “new operation” called the “south beach butt lift”

As a surgeon myself, I am completely mystified as to what this new operation is. A great journalistic piece was written about this which I urge you all to read. If anyone can figure out what’s new about this please let me know.
